Hi Tall Friends,

Hope your first day of summer was swell! We've been enjoying beautiful pool days, beach days, and BBQs. A few days ago, I photographed my girls in stars and stripes for the upcoming Holiday. Of course they're 2 and 4 years old and there was a swing set and pool nearby while I begged them to sit and smile, so it was pretty much a waste of time ;) but it got me thinking about 4th of July ensembles. Of course you could get a $5 T-shirt from Old Navy and call it a day (and I'm not knockin that!) but in case you want to rock the holiday and look good doing it, here are some options for men and women! Enjoy!

I guess stripes are in because I came across so much of them! I know stripes can be scary for some but seriously stripes aren't going to make or break a look nor will they add weight to your frame. Those are old "rules" that no longer apply! The shirts are a little more classic and easier to pull off than the dresses but all of the pieces are perfect options for the 4th of July celebration you'll be attending!

I'm seriously loving these classy options for men. That plaid shirt?! I die! And I know I can't be the only Pats fan in the bunch?! Ha! Those flip flops might be a random "just because" gift to my husband soon! In case the shirts are too trendy for you, I included a classic tee as well. Or you could always click through one of the links and choose a red, white, or navy polo. Those always work in my opinion!
