Do you ever get stuck in a rut? For me it's the worst in-between seasons. I'm tired of looking at the same old stuff in my closet...and trying to make it seem fresh. It's at that moment that I look for inspiration-- frankly, from anywhere. And today (like I did in Friday's blog post), I'm looking around the house. Not mine-that would be boring. I'm looking at beautiful room colorscapes and taking my cue from them.
I love how the pants have a floral pattern like the materials used in the room pictured. The cobalt blue flats are a nice pop that I never would've paired with the yellow and aqua if not for seeing it all come together so beautifully in this office/play space.
The "news" portion of the newsletter is usually reserved for news about TCM-and usually there isn't much news! But today I wanted to alert you to a couple of articles I came across in the 'real' news. One is an interview of a 6'7" hockey player who discusses where his height came from (or where it didn't). You can read that one here. The other was an interesting story about the President of Manila vetoing a measure that would remove height requirements for job applicants to policeman, jail guards, and fireman positions. Very interesting read that you can find here. As for Tall Clothing Mall and Tall Snob, you can find the latest posts here and here. They include a post on British supermodel Poppy Delavigne's style, a post similar to today's inspiration section, a post about how to break into modeling, a Pinterest inspired outfit post and Krista has several product reviews.
