Bring on Spring!

Hi Tall Friends,

With Daylight Savings behind us, I feel like spring has officially sprung.  Or at least we're close.  My husband said once Daylight Savings hits, that means spring is here.  I say once I don't have to wear a winter coat outside, that means spring is here.  We agreed that daylight savings is the beginning of the end.  With that in mind, I bring you some spring essentials.  A lightweight jacket, rainboots, and a fun tote.  What better way to wait for winter's last day than light and cheerful jackets + accessories.  It's like spring's version of winter wool + knee high boots.  Enjoy!

Jackets (high, medium, low):

I didn't intend to pick mostly casual jackets.  I guess that's just where my head is at right now--more play than work.  Blame it on Florida.  But you have to admit the two dressier picks are, well, amazing!  Just like in winter, looking polished becomes so easy when you top off your outfit with a stylish jacket.  All of these jackets are available in tall sizes.  I've broken them down into high, medium, and low price points but to be honest $175 isn't bad for a classic trench that you'll wear for years to come! I bought my trench about 10 years ago now and I still wear it every spring (and sometimes during the fall).  Here's to investment pieces!

Low:

Xersion Woven Hooded Anorak Jacket. $20

Women's Long Canvas Field Jacket. $39.94

Medium:

Utility Jacket. $69.95

1969 Denim Jacket. 69.95 (not pictured).

High:

Tall Corded Darby Striped Trench. $128

Lightweight Parka. $135.00

Striped Trench. $175

Rain boots are essential!  I don't know about you but I'm not a fan of soggy ankles and cold feet!  Not only are the cute, they're practical as well-perfect for wet weather and even light snow. All of the pics above are affordable and come in large sizes.

To me, spring scream bright colors, fun patterns, and fresh textures-canvas, patent leather, nylon.  I'd rock every one of these-I'm just realizing I picked a bag to suit each of my various fashion personalities-a fresh pattern for the casual chic in me, the patent number for the glam girl, and the canvas anchors for the preppy chic.  Wow.  I stun me.  ;)

Tretorn Skerry Rubber Rain Boot.  Up to size 14 (these are unisex and go up to a men's size 13 which is roughly a size 14 ½ to 15 for women). And a bonus-they come in 7 other lovely colors from which to choose.

Kamik Jennifer.  Up to size 11.

Sperry Top-Sider Falcon . Up to size 12. Available in 3 additional colors.

Bondi Beach Bag.

Candy Coated Lizard Embossed Tote.

Canvas Sail Tote.
