Hi Tall Friends,
I'm back from vacation and living real (COLD) life again. Florida in February was awesome! I'm hoping we can make it an annual thing. Part of getting back in the swing of things entailed taking down my Valentine's Day decorations and naturally thinking about the next holiday-St. Paddy's day. I never decorate the house for St. Patrick's Day but I do try to wear green. It's one of my favorite colors anyway so why not?! So in honor of shamrocks, and luck, and the Irish, and St. Patrick himself, here are my green picks for men and women. .Poppie Jones Canvas Striped Tote ($39.95) vs. Rebecca Minkoff Cherish Tote
($175). And I've got news for you-they are both canvas! I assumed the Rebecca bag was leather but it's not-it's coated canvas which is what gives it that sheen. That's a nice feature for sure, but if you want the striped green look with camel/blonde accents for a fraction of the price, I'd definitely consider the Poppie bag. In case you missed them, check out these posts on Tall Snob: Personal shopping request for
washable pants in a 35 or 36 inch inseam. Color Crush: Mint Green (LOVE that color!). And if you'd like to see all posts you might have missed this month, check out
February's monthly recap. On Tall Clothing Mall
, you'll find even more green options. Funny story-I've been on vacation and didn't see these posts prior to writing this newsletter. I guess Krista and I are on the same wavelength! Luckily we didn't pick the same items so you've got tons of green to choose from! Click here for her green picks for women and
here for her green picks for men. I've always had a soft spot for boat shoes-check out this post to see large size boat shoes for men and women. This week's partner spotlight is on Lee.Com
. The styles on this site are fairly basic but they do have tall items as well as big and tall items. Overall the selection of "tall" is limited and the length isn't extremely long but if you are borderline (too tall for regular but too short for tall items) or plus sized this is a good resource to keep in mind. They also have great prices. Here are a few items from their tall, big and tall, and plus sized section:
