Hi Tall Friends, Are you all following us on Pinterest? Do you love Pinterest? Or have a love/hate relationship with it? I love the inspiration. I love the organization. I love the recipes. I hate it when I pin something that is so far out of reach. I hate having a massive virtual "to-do" or "to-buy" list lurking in my head. But I'm pretty sure my love outweighs my hate (why else would I have 2600 pins?!).
Well today when browsing my "style file" board I came up with the genius idea to find an entire "pinned" outfit in tall sizes. Ok maybe it's not exactly genius. I loved coming up with affordable alternatives at stores we shop at every day. This pin was sort of my warm up:
I love it when "simple" looks SO cool. I went through a "forest green phase," and I thought it was over. But maybe not! On the left is the pin. On the right: Women's Pop-Color Rockstar Cords (Tall). These are available in eight shades and just might
be hanging out in my cart right now. These are super affordable AND on sale right now. Steve Madden Intyce in Cognac (To size12) I've featured these lovely boots before. They are perfect. And while hers look like they could be X and upwards of $300, the Steve Madden version is much more affordable.
Ok, now that I've warmed up, check out this Pinterest outfit:
I LOVE it. It also happens to be totally attainable! Here are my tall finds:
Today's partner spotlight is on Banana Republic. I love BR for many reasons: low flat rate shipping, free returns to store, comprehensive tall section, quality, affordability (especially with constant sales and discount codes), and style. Is that enough?! Continue reading for my picks from this awesome partner.
Krista is almost ready to reveal the tall sized clothing items in her new shop! I can't wait for you to see what she's come up with. Until then, busy yourself perusing Tall Snob! If you're anything like me, you'll find some very tempting posts! Check out this one
on a stylish jumpsuit perfect for the holidays. This one features very lust-worthy cashmere lounging pants. A splurge but on sale and justifiable as an early Christmas present perhaps? If you have a small waist and wear a 32 to 33 inch inseam,
this post is for you (and we're not at all jealous of your petite frame)! You'll love this other personal shopping post - GREAT style advice for long legs and a short waist.
