Hi Tall Friends,

How was your week? Hope you had a pleasant Father's Day weekend! My husband got a pass to golf all day so he was pretty happy. And the weather was nice and the kiddos were well behaved so I was pretty happy too! Speaking of nice weather and Father's Day, the next major holiday coming up is Independence Day so this week I decided to choose some red, white, and blue clothing and accessories in honor of the holiday. Here goes:
Tips & Trends
I love to dress for the holiday or occasion. I can't help it. If I'm going to a Christmas party or a 4th of July BBQ or even to work on St. Patty's day, I have to wear some variation of the colors associated with the holiday. It just makes everything feel more festive. Since Independence Day is almost upon us (only 2 short weeks away!), I figured I'd share my red, white, and blue picks (for men and women) with you.
Women, try pairing these looks with some offbeat color so you don't look too theme-y. Try adding gold jewelry, a pop of a different color, and different variations of red, white, and blue (coral, ivory, and aqua for example).
