How are you? Missing one week of chatting with you (ok, I realize the conversation is completely one sided!) feels like forever. Hope you've been well and enjoying these past few weeks. Did you wear your red, white, and blue tall fashions for Independence Day?! I can hardly believe it was just a few short days ago. Summer just started but I can already feel it slipping away...which brings me to my next point!

Tips and Trends:

I can't believe I'm even going to say this, but I feel like fall is just around the corner! I'm already seeing advertisements for back to school and all the summer markdowns are making me giddy with excitement. I am definitely not ready to think about fall but at the same time, as I'm looking at summer markdowns, I'm asking myself "Will I even have time to wear this?" Have you ever purchased something seasonal at a deeply discounted price, worn it once and then had to put it away for next summer or winter? Then next summer comes around, you pull it out, and think "I remember this being cuter." (Or is it just me)?! Well in case you've ever found yourself in that predicament, I thought I'd mention one trend that I think will have staying power through summer to fall.
