Fall is here and winter is soon to arrive!  I love the crisp coolness, the brightly colored leaves, and gorgeous sunsets.  I hope you're also enjoying it.

Secondly I wanted to share a couple of style tips for men and women.  I love talking fashion; it's an obsession.  But even more I love encouraging people to take risks and use clothing as a way to express themselves.  Perhaps I'm over analyzing, but I think height automatically draws people's attention, therefore if we take time and put a little effort in dressing well it can make a positive impact whereas if we don't, it can detract from what fabulous individuals we really are!  So here are some tips to wow them. 

Fall is a great time to start layering.  No matter where you live, it's probably a lot cooler in the morning and evening and warm during the day.  It makes sense to layer plus it adds some style to an otherwise typical outfit.  Oftentimes I'll get dressed and then throw something on to differentiate myself--a vest, a scarf, a long necklace, etc.  One of the essential pieces to layer is a long t-shirt or tank top.  This season you can toss a vest, sweater, cardigan, or scarf over it to add some depth.  It's easy, stylish, and everyone can pull it off!  Doesn't get much better than that.  Visit our section of Layering Shirts for Tall Women to find some options that work. 

For guys, the trend I'm seeing a lot of is vests--both sweater and tailored.

Vests are very versatile.  If you are a bit edgy you can wear a vest with a screen-print t-shirt, jeans, and converse.  If you want to keep it clean and preppy, you can layer it over a v-neck sweater.  If you want to keep it professional, skip the sweater and wear with a button down with jeans or slacks.  There are so many options.  Buying signature pieces and then building a wardrobe around them is the best way to have a wardrobe full of style and variety.  Visit our Big & Tall Men's Clothing Section and click on the Gap link for looks like this one.
